Description:

  • Architecture of all web apps was MVC, using a single controller servlet, dispatching via the Command design pattern.
  • Worked from an existing code base to develop added functionality and performed high level refactoring on numerous projects.
  • Specifically added address book functionality for online email system similar to yahoo email.
  • Refactored authentication and authorization systems, to separate email name from login name to the main site.
  • Wrote an intelligent click/hit tracking feature based on user hits to different areas of the site, putting all information into a relational database
  • Wrote Administrative reporting tools that access click/hit tracking data and presented view of that data by user type, year and/or month.
  • Wrote on in depth online reporting accessing data from sql server 2000, data was displayed in JSP views, also creating Excel xsl documents on the fly.
  • Generated reporting totals year to day, monthly all able to be drilled down to view subcategories of the customers in db.
  • Completely ported, rebuilt put into production the online file storage and web mail based project built from a previously deployed solution.
